101 things in 1001 days

Okay well I was surfing around livejournal a bit and found this. I thought it might be a good idea to get me more activated and stop being so freaking lazy and negative about my life. I really need to start working on myself to be a better person and enjoy the life I have infront of me.
I doubt I can come up with 101 things, but I'll add if I come up with something new. I'm gonna start this project tomorrow and have to see how it goes D:

Start: 11.08.2008
End: 09.05.2011

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).
Why 1001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
Some common goal setting tips:
1. Be decisive. Know exactly what you want, why you want it, and how you plan to achieve it.
2. Stay Focused. Any goal requires sustained focus from beginning to end. Constantly evaluate your progress.
3. Welcome Failure. Frequently, very little is learned from a venture that did not experience failure in some form. Failure presents the opportunity to learn and makes the success more worthy.
4. Write down your goals. It clarifies your thinking and reinforces your commitment.
5. Keep your goals in sight. Review them frequently, and ensure that they are always at the forefront of your thinking.

Cross them off as you do them, and add the dates. Include the date you started the list and the finishing date.

More information
mission101 and Day Zero

<strike>
Complete</strike>
In progress
<strike>Failed</strike>

1 Start & finish my graduation project within 2 months + graduate
2 Buy new glasses before year 2008 is over
3 Get a job that I enjoy
4 Save the money I get
5 Travel to South-Korea
6 Travel to Japan
7 Travel to Taiwan
8 Eat fruit atleast 4 days a week (
9 Brush my teeth twice a day (atleast 5 days a week) (0/715)
10 Attend to every friends or relative birthday party etc I'm invited to (0)
11 Eat healthy food
12 Stop eating candy (max once every 2 weeks)
13 Stop drinking soda (max once a week)
14 Learn to cook food (so I can make food if I'm alone)
15 Learn Korean
16 Learn Japanese
17 Get my driver's license (the final one)
18 Do the dishes atleast once a week (0/143)
19 Go to the Spa thingie in Naantali with Saara
20 Buy a new camera
21 Get a boyfriend
22 Go to the dentist regularly and get all my holes fixed (D:)
23 Go to a doctor to have a check-up
24 Have a big cleaning in my room once a month (0/33)
25 Go out for a walk atleast once a week (0/143)
26 Stretch/yoga 5 days a week (atleast 10-20 min) (0/715)
27 Make new friends
28 Meet zeya
29 Meet a friend I've met online from another country
30 Eat sushi for the first time
31 Cook dinner once a month (0/33)
32 Buy So Nyuh Shi Dae's new album
33 Only buy things that I need
34 Stop procrastinating
35 Get more confident
36 Lose some weight and fat
37 Figure out what I want to do with my life
38 Get more social
39 Meditate every weekend for 5min (0/143)
40 Start taking pictures with the new camera (that I will be buying)
41 Watch 10 animes (0/10)
○ Mugen no Juunin (Blade of the Immortal)
○ NANA
○ Death Note
○ Genshiken
○ Baccano!
42 Get creative one way or other
43 Donate blood
44 Go horse riding
45 Read 50 books (0/50)
46 Go the grocery store with mom once a week (0/143)
47 Use AT every Sunday (0/143)
48 Drive to Helsinki by car myself
49 Meet an idol in either Korea, Japan or Taiwan
50 Weigh myself once per week and track my weight using a calendar (0/143)
51 Visit grandmother in hospital 1-2/week (0/286)
52 Get a manicure
53 Quit playing Silkroad Online for good
54 Get a new livejournal with a name I like
55 Drink coffee (I hate coffee!)
My personality type

Dreamy Idealists are very cautious and therefore often appear shy and reserved to others. They share their rich emotional life and their passionate convictions with very few people. But one would be very much mistaken to judge them to be cool and reserved. They have a pronounced inner system of values and clear, honourable principles for which they are willing to sacrifice a great deal. Joan of Arc or Sir Galahad would have been good examples of this personality type. Dreamy Idealists are always at great pains to improve the world. They can be very considerate towards others and do a lot to support them and stand up for them. They are interested in their fellow beings, attentive and generous towards them. Once their enthusiasm for an issue or person is aroused, they can become tireless fighters.Dreamy Idealist

For Dreamy Idealists, practical things are not really so important. They only busy themselves with mundane everyday demands when absolutely necessary. They tend to live according to the motto “the genius controls the chaos” - which is normally the case so that they often have a very successful academic career. They are less interested in details; they prefer to look at something as a whole. This means that they still have a good overview even when things start to become hectic. However, as a result, it can occasionally happen that Dreamy Idealists overlook something important. As they are very peace-loving, they tend not to openly show their dissatisfaction or annoyance but to bottle it up. Assertiveness is not one of their strong points; they hate conflicts and competition. Dreamy Idealists prefer to motivate others with their amicable and enthusiastic nature. Whoever has them as superior will never have to complain about not being given enough praise.

As at work, Dreamy Idealists are helpful and loyal friends and partners, persons of integrity. Obligations are absolutely sacred to them. The feelings of others are important to them and they love making other people happy. They are satisfied with just a small circle of friends; their need for social contact is not very marked as they also need a lot of time to themselves. Superfluous small talk is not their thing. If one wishes to be friends with them or have a relationship with them, one would have to share their world of thought and be willing to participate in profound discussions. If you manage that you will be rewarded with an exceptionally intensive, rich partnership. Due to their high demands on themselves and others, this personality type tends however to sometimes overload the relationship with romantic and idealistic ideas to such an extent that the partner feels overtaxed or inferior. Dreamy Idealists do not fall in love head over heels but when they do fall in love they want this to be a great, eternal love.

Adjectives which describe your type
introverted, theoretical, emotional, spontaneous, idealistic, dreamy, effusive, pleasant, reserved, friendly, passionate, loyal, perfectionist, helpful, creative, composed, curious, obstinate, with integrity, willing to make sacrifices, romantic, cautious, shy, peace-loving, vulnerable, sensitive, communicative, imaginative

These subjects could interest you
literature, philosophy, psychology, music, art (museums), writing, drawing/painting, astrology, spiritual things, meditation, handicrafts, writing, voluntary work
